SONG 2 : TRAVELLING NORTH

As the animals are mentioned during the song, they enter and move around, standing still at

the side of the stage when the next animal is mentioned. At the end of the song Pete enters.

Millie              Never heard of them.

Max                Look at those flippy, floppy feet. [They all point]

Mollie             Couldn’t climb trees with those.

Clive               Never heard of them.

Chloe              Look at those flippy, floppy feet. [They all point]

Colin               Couldn’t run in the sand with those.

Pete                No, but they’re great for swimming.

[He moves to the hopping kangaroos] Hello, I’m a penguin.

Carol               Never heard of them.

Chris               Look at those flippy, floppy feet. [They all point]

Kim                 Couldn’t bounce around the bush with those.

Pete                No, but they’re great for swimming … and they’ll get me to see Father       Christmas.

Kim                 Oh, you’re going to see Father Christmas are you?

All                   He’s that way. [They all point]
